Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure track) position for a scholar of Media and Media Theory
The departments of Comparative Literature and Near Eastern Studies at Cornell University jointly invite applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor (tenure track) position for a scholar of Media and Media Theory, broadly conceived, with expertise in the Middle East. Applicants working in Arabic, Persian or Turkish are particularly encouraged to apply. We seek a creative scholar with the potential for developing new directions in humanities teaching and research who is interested in joining an interdisciplinary group of scholars to be hired over the next five years across the university, as part of the provost’s task force on Arts and Humanities at Cornell and its initiative in "Media, Material Cultures, and the Senses."
