I am Associate Professor of Political Science at Clark University in Worcester, MA, where I teach courses on Middle Eastern politics, among others. At Cornell, I focused on history, religion and the Middle East. The courses I took in NES, especially the four years of Arabic I was able to take, provided an important foundation for the research I do now on armed conflict in the Middle East.
