The department congratulates Ayse D. Lokmanoglu (NES ’08). She was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at Clemson University after receiving her Ph.D. in Communication at Georgia State University, as a presidential fellow in the Transcultural Conflict and Violence Initiative.
Lokmanoglu graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in near eastern studies from Cornell University. She continued on to get a Master's in Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard (2012).
